☆ HELP ME CALM THIS HURRICANE

Rose Tyler is a character from the BBC series Doctor Who. Character portrayal is current through Journey's End, but I'm willing to rewind a bit (season one!Rose is my bb) for games involving the Ninth Doctor if desired. She's available for use in psl and group endeavors. Questions go in the comments!

PS: I'd love your face if you played Eight or Four.

Brief History: The stars began to dim, little by little, until the light in the midnight sky diminished entirely. She searched, one dimension to the next, and still the Doctor never came. The universes grew increasingly more unstable and with it her own mirror dimension started to fall apart at the seams. Torchwood and UNIT controlled what it could, but now beings arrived from above, not only just the breach and there was little room on one tiny blue planet to house the hordes of orphans from countless collapsed galaxies. Chaos broke out on the streets, the government dismantled in the face of more powerful alien bodies, the whole world rendered to the state of a third world country in less than a month. Time was running out and help wasn't coming.

Personality: No longer the carefree, bleeding heart of a teen she once was, Rose has become a victim of circumstance. She views the universe through the eyes of a soldier now; dark, weary and cynical. She's lost people along the way and the grievances have left her hardened over time. This isn't to say she's become selfish or cruel, as she continues to put others before herself in the face of crisis, however she's suffered a critical blow in the loss of hope and its absence only stands testament to the shell of a woman she's become.

She followed him through the winding corridors of the TARDIS for the guest room that was quickly becoming her own. He was quieter than usual, not a single stutter in his stride as he wound this way and that with the echo of heavy boots resounding off the organic walls of the ship that hummed with ancient vigor. The sound was soothing in its familiarity and she felt at peace, delicately tracing the exposed wiring with her fingertips as she passed in his wake. The anxiety from their earlier battle with the Slitheen was loosening its weight upon her shoulders and heart, all but forgotten now. Even the concern on her mum's face and doubt in her voice for her daughters safety when she made her farewells was beginning to fade. Funny how that happened when you were traveling with the Doctor, everything and everyone else, no matter how much you cared for them, just seemed so trivial in comparison.

Rose cleared her throat, skipping her rubber soles against the metal grating at her feet to catch up to his long stride. She tilted her head to the side, a tangled mess of golden hair cascading down her shoulder when she raised a brow to inspect the unreadable expression on his face.

"So, Doctor . . plasma storm? Horsehead Nebula? Fires burning a million miles wide?" she asked with a certain amount of innocently flirtatious cheek in her voice. She leaned in and nudged him with her shoulder, gentle enough not to dislodge the duffel bag he carried in her stead within his arms. "That a line you use on all the girl's to get them to come with you or are you just that terrified of my mum's cooking?" she knew he didn't do domestics, but she'd be lying if she said she wasn't at least slightly disappointed by his adamant refusal. In the end, though, she'd rather be out here amongst the stars with this familiar stranger than eating shepherds pie in the Powell Estates.
